We are experiencing the re-emergence of the ‘cottage’ industry.  People who have previously sold their products in small shops, are shifting to moving their businesses to their homes, holding product parties or selling on the internet.

Cottage industries have led the world for a millennium.  In developing countries, small businesses and cottage industries are their salvation.  Our country is in a stage of being a re-developing country, and life is at our door.

Hearing and believing all that the information that flows around us from the news, or from our community, can shape a future we do not desire.  If we buy into the fear around our economy, we can buy into a personal sense of devastation.

We hold so many outdated ideas about our economy, and we have just recently discovered that they are outdated.  We have the opportunity now to take greater control over our own lives and build our own successful businesses.

As we tune out the doom-and-gloom information and take a fresh look at where we are, we can see that opportunities actually abound.  All those dreams we put away can be taken out again, renewed and put into action.

The doors of perception are opening in us now, to allowing us to open to a whole new way of being in the world.  As the world shifts around us, we are gaining the ability to return to the basics of living, creativity, joy in work, stepping into the flow of prosperity and abundance.

This is the time to release our fears of losing our jobs, having less work, making less money than we are used to; and begin to clarify our gifts and talents, and identify and embrace our own abilities, those things we bring to the planet.  We can demonstrate how wealth is created, how we are financially secure in all ways, and how we share with other people.

As the world shifts and changes in significant ways, our form of commerce, trade, large and small businesses, and even banking will change.  We are coming into a much larger world view, and we are a major part of that shift.

Our state of mind is our greatest asset and draws on our theta brain waves to open our potential.  As we are changing within ourselves, we are changing our own consciousness.  We are creating a larger world view for creating health, wealth, autonomy and relationships.  It is here that we find peace, joy and satisfaction, no matter what is happening outside of ourselves.

We may appear to be in a time of destruction and loss, but we are actually in a time of creation.  We are responsible for the reconstruction of our communities, our countries, our planet and who we are as a people.  We are the only ones, through our thinking, who can change what is…to what we want.

So what do you wish you could do?

Have you always wanted to sing, or start a small business, or start a rock-band, or live and work abroad?  Well, why not now.  Why not go for that realtors license, the market will return and you’ll be ready.  Why not start teaching those classes at the community college you always wanted to teach.  Why not join the MLM you had considered when you were too busy, or try direct sales.

Want to change the world, and do it from home? Discover what you can offer of value and begin teaching it, or selling it, or creating it.  Make a decision to make a difference starting small, but steady ways.  Do you think Bill Gates ever had second thoughts about starting his software business from a garage?  Not likely.

Everyone has things they want to learn, or re-create in their lives.  Things left over from their childhood, or from things they have put off as adults.  You can be the teacher, you can be the guide, and you can offer what you know right from your living-room, or your computer.  There are jewelry parties, finance lectures, training in simple home repairs, even belly-dancing, and there is The One Command!

Your skills are your paycheck, your money. Your ability to create an idea into reality is your wealth.  Bring your ideas to fruition. Whatever you want is yours for the making.  Turn your living-room into your learning institute.  Make it happen.
